Opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Voice and Data Installation Engineer working within the IT & Telecoms industry.
Key duties of the position are as follows, but not limited to:
• Installing and terminating Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7 cabling
• Testing and faulting of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7 cabling
• Installation of cable containment
• Installation of Fibre Optic cabling
• Labelling of completed installations
• Completing the installations to the relevant specifications
• Moves & Changes (MAC)
• Job planning and prioritisation
• Customer Liaison
• To work according to company and individual Health & Safety responsibilities
• Performing duties to a high-quality standard
• Responsible for reducing individual site waste
• Responsible for submitting weekly job sheets to senior staff
