East Kent Mediation is a charity providing mediation for people with housing-related issues in Shepway, Dover and Thanet. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Development Manager to oversee daily operations and develop the service in response to local needs.

As Service Development Manager, you will have overall responsibility for project and case management, reporting to the Board of Directors. You will develop and maintain links with other agencies, local voluntary organisations and other professional bodies, and manage the submission of funding applications. You will also hold responsibility for the recruitment, management, training and development of staff and volunteers.

The successful applicant will be an experienced manager and hold a qualification in management or project management. A self-motivated and independent worker, you will have the requisite skills and knowledge to grow the service in response to the challenges presented by the current time, and be innovative in your approach to developing a remote and COVID-safe mediation offering.
