Are you a Web Developer? Do you have Laravel experience?
Our client is a fast growing global business and they require a senior PHP developer to join their expanding web and marketing team. Your main responsibility will be to improve and maintain their website and subsidiary sites and services but also support the development of the internal software.
Essential skills
* Skilled in OOP PHP (7.0+)
* Skilled in SQL (MySQL)
* Can navigate Linux based architectures
* Experience with version control (Git)
* Desirable skills
* Experience using a PHP MVC framework (Laravel, Symfony)
* Experience using frontend frameworks (Vue, Angular)
* Good understanding of RESTful APIs
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Skilled in unit and functional testing
* Exposure to Docker
* Understanding of server-side caching and performance optimisation
* Experienced with manipulating large datasets
* Large scale distributed application/microservice architecture and development
In return you will be able to work for a motivated and inspiring team in a beautiful property on the outskirts of Canterbury, the role is Monday - Friday 9.00-5.30pm but they will consider flexible/agile working arrangements. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. 22 days holiday + 8 bank holiday and opportunities to progress your career within the business.
