We’re looking for a self-motivated PHP developer to join our expanding web and marketing team. Your responsibility will be maintaining and improving the new Top Villas website and subsidiary sites and services, as well as the support and development of internal software. Our ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic about new technology, skilled in producing extensible and maintainable code, and with great troubleshooting skills.
Essential skills
Skilled in OOP PHP (7.0+)
Skilled in SQL (MySQL)
Can navigate Linux based architectures
Experience with version control (Git)
Desirable skills
Experience using a PHP MVC framework (Laravel, Symfony)
Experience using frontend frameworks (Vue, Angular)
Good understanding of RESTful APIs
Experience working in an Agile environment
Skilled in unit and functional testing
Exposure to Docker
Understanding of server-side caching and performance optimisation
Experienced with manipulating large datasets
Large scale distributed application/microservice architecture and development
