A successful Accountancy Practice based in Maidstone is looking to increase their team with an experienced Bookkeeper.
The successful individual will have used either of SAGE or XERO and have worked as a Bookkeeper within a fast paced company.
A background working within an Accounts Practice would be ideal, however not essential!
This is a client facing role where you will directly have contact with clients over the phone/email or, on occasion, working from their offices.
Key Responsibilities and Experience:
* Process sales invoices, purchase invoices, expense claims, bank payments and receipts
* Liaise with clients/suppliers
* Credit control of overdue accounts
* Reconcile bank accounts
* Reconcile trade debtors and trade creditors
* Post PAYE and other journals
* Prepare VAT returns
* Background working within an Accounts Practice
* Knowledge of both SAGE and Xero
Salary up to £27K DOE
