Graphic Designer / Artworker
Salary: DOE
Contract: Full Time

Overall Job Purpose
To support the Marketing Manager and Marketing team in preparing high quality design work, including corporate literature, proposals, digital (including animation/video), web assets, corporate events and ad-hoc items.
Responsibilities
• To work with the Marketing Manager to ensure the firm’s branding guidelines are implemented correctly and consistently, creating high quality design led work and providing creative design solutions for print, digital and web including:
o Corporate literature
o Client facing documents i.e. proposals/tenders
o Corporate events material
o Internal and external communication campaigns
o Digital projects (including video and audio)
o Social media and web assets
o Infographics/ Illustrations
• Sourcing imagery from stock libraries and offering image solutions to campaigns and presentations
• Working with a wide range of media and using graphic design software
• Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Understand project requirements and concepts
• Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
• Amend final designs to project managers comments and gain full approval
• Produce final design solutions
• Pitch creative ideas that enhance projects
• Collaborate with team members to launch designs
• Take on special design tasks to support multiple projects
• Use feedback from leaders to improve work
• Work with the rest of the marketing team to ensure the firm’s visual house style is implemented correctly and consistently
• To play a role in creative development and idea generation
• Working directly with internal clients, advising on best practice and creative development of concepts and ideas
• To promote the use of brand templates and to offer ideas for development of those templates
• Maintain and process images for the product database
• Arrange and manage photography for product database and promotional advertisements
Requirements for the Role:
• Qualification in graphic design or similar (Degree preferred)
• 2 years’ plus experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge of other Adobe Suit packages would be advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• An understanding of photography and image making practices
• Experience of working within a corporate identity
• Flair for design and an understanding of applied creativity in a professional environment
• Literature design - including typography/layout and infographic layout
• Keen attention to detail
• Able to take a project over and continue from concept through to artwork
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload accordingly
• Sports and or Education industry experience not essential but a benefit
