Top Villas (one of the world’s largest vacation rental companies) is looking for talented people to support our business in the fast-growing vacation rental market.
We are seeking 2 full-time backend PHP Developers in our lovely office at Discovery Park, Sandwich.
Responsibilities
Your responsibility will be maintaining and improving the new Top Villas website and subsidiary sites and services, as well as the support and development of internal software. Our ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic about new technology and skilled in producing extensible and maintainable code.
Essential skills
Skilled in OOP PHP (7.0+)
Skilled in SQL (MySQL)
Can navigate Linux based architectures
Experience with version control (Git)
Desirable skills
Experience using backend MVC framework (Laravel, Symfony)
Experience using frontend frameworks (Vue, Angular)
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Experience working in an Agile environment
Skilled in unit and functional testing
Exposure to Docker
Understanding of server-side caching and performance optimisation
Experienced with manipulating large datasets
Large scale distributed application architecture and development
