We are looking for a loyal, dependable, accomplished and skilled Designer/Developer to join our publishing team based in Maidstone with a view to developing a long-term career, working across numerous platforms.

Duties include:

Digital - Email:
• HTML Email Design - design + proof + schedule
• Data – export / import
• Organisation of Email schedule
• Email analytics
• Forms / Adding subscribers
• Design of E-Newsletters, E-Editions, Promo emails

Digital – Website:
• Website Design / Development / Maintenance (Joomla and WordPress)
• Filezilla / FTP + VPS Server / Plesk
• HTML / CSS / (bit of PHP and Javascript)
• Uploading / Updates – Magazine + Feature + News + Events + Profiles + Banners

Print:
• Magazine layout / Design / Editorial Layout / Advert design
• Graphic Design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/ Illustrator / Photoshop)
• Photo Editing / Vector Work

Other:
• Good Time Management and Organizational skills
• Reporting System
• Looking after accounts and profiles (e-marketing platform, website hosting etc)
• Social Media profiles and accounts

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Solid experience as a Designer within a related commercial environment or similar role
• All-rounder with great team communication skills and expertly skilled in the art of dealing with clients
• Be self-motivated and able to work using own initiative
• Be able to work proficiently in a pressured environment
• Must have an appropriate qualification
