Having seen consistent and significant year on year growth, our client, a hugely successful international product-based business based in Mid Kent, is seeking to appoint an Interim Finance Director to join them from January to cover a 3-6 month period whilst they appoint on a permanent basis.

Working closely with the senior management team and owners, this role will take the lead in all financial related matters for the group, managing a team of 10 and contributing to the commercial activities of the business. The Finance Director will oversee the timely completion of all month end activities, the board pack, co-ordinate year end activities, including acting as the key contact for external auditors and drive the budgeting and forecasting processes. Additional project-based work will also form a part of the role.

Substantial experience operating at FD level / in a number one finance role will be essential, together with recent exposure to a product related industry such as retail, manufacturing, engineering or construction. International experience working in a group business is highly desirable. A formally recognised accounting qualification is a pre-requisite (ACA, ACCA or CIMA equivalent).

Candidates will be available to start a role in January and commit to a period of 3-6 months.
