Finance Manager
Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge?
An exciting opportunity has become available within a Charity organisation based in Mid-Kent. This is a key role within the Senior Management Team in which you will be responsible for leading the management of their Finances and IT function.
Finance
* Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget
* Prepare the management accounts
* Prepare reports for Funders
* Support the Chief Executive by providing financial information for the preparation of funding applications
* Provide financial reports to the SMT and offer guidance and support
* Continuing the development of the financial systems
* To support annual audit working closely
* Maintain the Finances of Umbrella Charities.
* Prepare annual accounts liaising with auditors.
* Complete monthly bank reconciliatiaon.
* Oversee payroll (Outsourced) Pensions and PAYE
* Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory returns.
IT
* To lead the charity's IT function
* Ensure IT systems are kept up to date
* Ensure that IT systems are developed to support the smooth running of the organisation and that new systems are implemented where necessary
* Work closely with SMT to identify and implement simplifications and improvements to charity's processes and procedures.
Other
* Oversee the smooth running of the office premises.
* Manage tenants rentals
* Lead on all aspects of Health and Safety including assessments, monitoring, reporting, policies and procedures.
* Maintain staff records and calculation of Annual Leave and sick leave.
* Maintain staff personnel files
* To lead on recruitment and line manage a finance and administration officer
This is a great opportunity for a dedicated Finance Manager looking for a role offering variety and a fun challenge. The ideal candidate will be efficient and an excellent communicator. You will have strong IT skills and come from a Charity background.
