MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Trevor May Contractors Limited is a well known, established Sports Construction Company situated in Challock. We are taking this opportunity to create a new role within the company due to the upcoming retirement of longstanding members of staff.
This is a full time position although part-time hours would be considered for the right person. Working in a small, friendly office, the position would suit someone who is AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA part qualified accountant or equivalent. Applicants should have sound administrative and IT skills including SAGE and Excel, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Processing staff Payroll (weekly and monthly) and expenses
• Producing annual P11d's
• Managing CIS submissions and payments
• Producing monthly management accounts within deadlines required, including Profit/Loss accounts with analytical reviews and fully reconciled Balance Sheets with supporting documentation on a monthly basis
• Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
• Project costings (using SAGE)
• All sales and purchase ledger invoices
• Raising sales invoices
• BACS Bank Payments
• Reconciling Statements
• Liaising with suppliers
• Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliation
• Providing advice and dealing with general day to day queries
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience
