We are currently looking for a Junior Surveyor to join a busy Site Acquisition team. A successful candidate will need to:
• Organise site surveys and attend on-site meetings
• Compile programs of work and manage workload spreadsheets
• Read leases and licenses and advise clients
• Provide administrative support for project surveyors as and when required
• Prepare pre-application consultation and planning applications for submission to Local Planning Authorities
• Manage a portfolio of sites to progress to completion and have full responsibility over these instructions.
• Review legal documents
• Provide close support to the administrative processes within the project including financial support with purchase orders, invoicing and disbursements.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
Essential skills:
Relevant qualifications. This position (degree level) would particularly suit candidates with property, town planning, law or IT degrees. We would also consider candidates with relevant practical work experience.
Good IT skills
Good interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work within a team and with contractors
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
Able to deal with continuous change
Full driving licence
Desirable skills:
Telecoms or property industry experience
An understanding of Town Planning & Highways procedures
Car Owner with flexibility to travel around UK
