A well-established accountancy practice based in the heart of Medway is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their ever growing Accounts team. The accountancy practice are seeking an ambitious Accounts senior with previous experience in an accountancy practice to join and take over some of the increasing workload while primarily handling the more complex clients.
Senior Accountant Position Overview
Preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts
Preparation of management accounts
Training of junior staff members
Preparation of personal tax computations
Audit preparation
Preparation of tax computations and returns
Reviewing VAT returns
Senior Accountant Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will be ambitious and ready to take the next step
3+ years of working in an accountancy practice.
A good amount of exposure to clients would be beneficial
A good working knowledge of accountancy software would be advantageous
Audit experience would be advantageous
