Are you looking for a new start or a relocation to Kent? We have an exciting career opportunity in this unique and iconic setting on a 150 acre site near to the White Cliffs of Dover.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual. This role includes taking direct responsibility for the day to day delivery of all facilities and infrastructure for a 24/7 boarding school with 500+ students. Taking full account of the needs of the School, its commercial activities, its listed buildings, together with significant interaction with all staff and the senior leadership team as well as line management responsibilities. You will be the initial point of contact for grounds, maintenance, compliance & H&S.

A varied role that requires excellent organisation and communication skills, the ability to problem solve and work alone, budgetary experience, good IT skills, a qualified RICS surveyor and H&S experience/qualifications are desirable. With a proven track record of working in a similar environment and/or a project management background as well as the management of contractors and preparing tenders. The successful candidate will be flexible and able to manage the ever changing priorities of a busy department.

Salary: DOYRMS current range (£44,516 to £57,844 per annum. Full-time role that will require the incumbent to work to suit the business needs. Accommodation on site may be available. House rental charge, inc. water, is currently £450 per month with no deposit required. Opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme, free lunches and excellent sports facilities.
