Position Expectations
Reporting to the Development Manager, the role is to drive and deliver key projects from concept through to production handover. Responsibilities include ensuring the designated projects are delivered on time, to brief, at an acceptable cost and comply with all regulatory requirements.


General duties to include:
• Managing the day to day development tasks for the given projects
• Creating design briefs
• Working with vendors to organise 3D designs
• Analyse the 3D data within a CAD environment making changes/marking up of CAD data
• Liaising with internal and external designers to brief and commission pack and instructions leaflet artwork
• Ensure that design projects are fully documented and archived along with their associated research material
• Liaise with the Brand Marketing Team to ensure all aspects of projects fulfil their requirements
• Ensuring the projects developed are approved in line with our standards and expectations
• Provide an engineering support service
• Managing compliance responsibilities for projects in conjunction with the QA team
• Managing license compliance of projects in conjunction with the licensing team
• Collaborative approach to working with the operations team to ensure the right suppliers and the right prices are agreed
• Understanding and acting upon customer and consumer comments and feedback in order to improve current and future products

Key Skills and Experience:
• Have a proven track record in a similar role - CAD skillset is beneficial
• A thorough understanding of plastic moulding techniques is essential
• Wide ranging business experience essential
• Proven product development background
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Good team-working, communications and presentation skills
• Have an inquiring and analytical mind
• Be self-motivated
• Be able to work independently
