The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers to begin working for our client based in the Headcorn, Kent area.
Daily duties will include:
- Daily operation of the forklift
- Loading and unloading orders in to vehicles
- Moving pallets and stock around the warehouse
- Maintaining a safe and tidy environment in the warehouse
- Updating records
- Reporting directly to the shift manager
Candidates must be able to show proof of a valid forklift counterbalance and reach truck licence. Experience is also essential to be considered for this role.
Candidates must also have a basic understanding of English.
You must also be flexible to work on an alternating shift pattern across 5 days per week. Alternating shifts below:
06:00 - 15:00
15:00 - 00:00
In return, you will receive:
- An hourly rate of between £8.48 - £9.75 per hour (dependent on shift times)
- 28 days of holiday per annum
- Overtime premium after 39 hours per week
- An increased rate of pay after a successful 12 week trial period
- The opportunity to be part of a growing business
Due to the location of the role, candidates will need their own transport.
