Knight Optical (UK) Ltd is a precision optical component supplier and manufacturer based in Harrietsham, Kent, with a newly-established US office.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to plan and implement strategic marketing activities for the business, increasing brand awareness and driving sales leads. This is a highly specialised field that requires a technical approach to marketing.

Key aspects of this role include:

• Management of advertising within industry magazines and directories as well as negotiating agreements.
• Control of industry association memberships; ensuring utilisation of member benefits such as networking and attendance of trade shows.
• Responsible for the planning of marketing campaigns; researching emerging and prosperous markets and translating analytics and
market information to the sales team for lead generation.
• Management of the marketing budget, ensuring there is no overspend.
• Reporting to senior management on ROI, campaign/exhibition success, web sales and data from Google Analytics.
• Organising all branded content for marketing purposes; for example, designs and copywriting.
• Managing website content.
• Designing web banners and other branded materials to adhere to Knight Optical's brand guidelines.
• The organisation of exhibitions including logistics, insurance, staff accommodation, travel, sponsorship, advertising and company
incentives.
• Research future potential exhibitions for attendance/exhibiting.
• Monitoring social media channels to measure the success of the Knight Optical brand.
• Design and distribute all email marketing, including external and internal newsletters, e-shots and personalised emails for staff members
for GDPR-compliant mass mailings.
• Installing tracking for conversions through Google Tag Manager to ensure measurability of campaigns.
• Managing Google Ads accounts for Knight Optical’s UK and USA branches to reflect campaigns and 'hot' products.
• Interpret data from Google Analytics and use attribution modelling to ensure clear statistics are presented to senior management on
marketing spend.
• Project manage the Knight Optical catalogue (due for renewal) and new website.
• Manage all domains Knight Optical holds and ensure correct redirection to knightoptical.com.
• Management of B2B lead generation software, Lead Forensics.
• Sourcing leads for the sales team to follow up.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager.
• Proven marketing experience.
• Marketing planning and budgeting experience.
• MS Office proficient.
• Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience with email marketing suites.
• Experience using social media management software.
• SEO knowledge.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of GDPR.
• SAP skills.
• Adobe Illustrator.
