We are a Pegasus Software reseller based in Kent looking for a Software Support Technician to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our organisation and will provide excellent levels of support to our customers, troubleshooting Pegasus Software products.

Key Responsibilities
• To provide telephone, email or remote support to customers on queries relating to use of software and software faults
• To take ownership of calls and follow through to completion
• To keep customers fully informed of progress in relation to open calls
• To accurately record details of actions and advice given in our inhouse database.
• Escalating issues as appropriate to the relevant team member
• Streamlining and improving current procedures and assisting in documentation and training

Job Requirements
Successful candidates for this role will be able to work well under pressure using their own initiative and have the ability to handle challenging issues.

Additional requirements of this entry level role include: -
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficient with Windows desktop computers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Excel and Word

The following are not required but would be preferred: -
• Some accountancy knowledge or experience of accounting applications/ERP business software (full training will be provided)
• Experience in a support or customer services environment
• A full, clean UK driving licence

Salary: Depending on experience
Hours of work are full-time Monday to Friday 9 – 5.30pm.
