Breakfast Chef – Maternity Cover for 12 months

Salary: £8.76 per hour

We are recruiting for a Breakfast Chef to take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high standards of cuisine within our restaurants, creating fantastic memories for our guests. .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook dishes on menus for guests and employees to standards set by the company and the Head Chef.

2. Maintain adequate section stock levels to meet the needs of the business and place orders with Head Chef or Sous Chef. Check items against delivery notes and record and address shortfalls. Maintain secure stock storage. Minimise expenses by careful control of food stock.

3. Cook, chill, label, store and rotate food, keeping required records and taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure compliance with HACCP procedures and food hygiene regulations

4. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene practices in line with legal and company requirements. Keep the kitchen equipment clean and in good working order. Report hazards and maintenance requirements to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

5. Maintain regular communication by attending team briefings and meetings and relevant site meetings.

6. Maintain up to date knowledge of food industry trends. Lead own development needs.

7. Adopt a flexible approach and assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate. Carry out reasonable requests.
