We are looking for an Evening Shift Supervisor to work for our client based in Margate.

Responsibilities:

You will be reporting to the Assistant Production Manager/Production Manager and your duties will include:

to adhere to and to ensure that others adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
managing and motivating operators, working in a wide variety of different roles
ensuring operators meet and exceed all quality and efficiency targets
ensuring all manufactured products meets customer required specifications
first article inspection
stock management including: maintaining KanBans, stock taking and critical device controls
key-holder responsibilities, including shutdown and startup procedures
Requirements:

You have to be a trustworthy, well-organized and motivated individual.

ideally you will have a background in either electronics and/or manufacturing
a good communicator both written and verbal
experience of using MS suite of programs
ability to understand and adhere to strict policies and procedures
IPC training is preferred but can be completed in house
a sound understanding of manufacturing techniques and expectations
experience in a supervisory role is an advantage
flexibility in relation to working hours if needed
You will be working 39 hours a week (13:00 to 22:00 Monday to Thursday, 13:00 to 18:00 Friday), although some overtime may be required. You will start on 23 days holiday per year, then rising to 30 days. Remuneration is dependent on skills and experience.

All of these positions are temp to perm and the pay rate is £10.50.

Due to the location and working hours you will need to have your own transport.
