We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join a local company be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing materials in a timely and accurate manner to deliver an efficient and effective service to the customers.

Key responsibilities include:-
• Receive and book onto the warehouse management system all inbound materials from suppliers.
• Put away to storage locations all materials received.
• Pick, pack and issue all outbound materials as required by the customer..
• Conduct all tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Ensure stock integrity through regular stock counts.
• Input, interrogate and retrieve data within the warehouse management system as required in performing all tasks.
• Undertake housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Organise transport to and from our customers and suppliers when necessary.
• Understand the KPI’s and take appropriate actions to ensure targets are met.
• Participate in and pass all training courses as required by the business.
• Behave in a professional manner at all times

You will have a good level of numeracy and literacy with a good understanding of the English language. You must be physically fit due to the manual nature of the role, and will need to be flexible in your approach to working hours in accordance with the needs of the business.
