Sparshatt Truck & Van Ltd has been synonymous with Mercedes-Benz in Kent for 40 years. Today the group operates four well-established sales and service sites across the county, employing over 240 staff.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career as a Business Development Executive at a leading Mercedes-Benz dealership.
As our Business Development Executive, you will be building relationships with our new and existing customers, making sure they receive a quality service, identifying and taking sales opportunities when they arise. You will be able to source leads from analytic reports and strategically plan targeted areas from reported data from various sources.
As our Business Development Executive you will be:
- Generate profitable sales leads for the business
- Identify new sales opportunities and act on them in a timely manner
- Take individual responsibility for prospecting, qualifying and growing existing business
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers, establishing their needs short and long term
- Cross sell across all areas of the business
- Schedule appointments for Sales Executives
The successful applicant must have:
- A proactive approach that delivers quality results
- Experience of working with information and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and sustain valuable relationships
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of working in a sales or customer service environment
