An opportunity has arisen for a flexible, hard working, Process Operator to join an international market-leading company based in Thanet.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of high quality printing inks and ancillary supplies and the picking and packing of finished products within the International Logistics Centre.
Activities include raw material and finished product warehousing, batch weighing, milling, blending, labelling, packing, order picking and distribution of finished goods and other factored products.
Tasks also include the setting up and operation of plant equipment, recording information/maintaining records, housekeeping of working areas as well as operating forklifts and other types of equipment. Many of the tasks include elements of manual handling and the handling of COSHH substances.
Applicants must be effective, working to a high standard of safety in small but busy teams and able to work on own initiative.
Hours of work will be Monday-Friday, 7am-3.00pm.
