Job Title: Structure and Signware Maintenance Engineer’s Mate
Main Purpose of Job: To work under the supervision of the Team Leader in carrying out sign installation and maintenance and canopy maintenance, as directed by the Company; maintain at all times high standards of Health & Safety, Quality and professionalism, in accordance with Company doctrine, principles and procedures.
Relationships:
a) Responsible to: The Operations Manager & Team Leader
b) Responsible for: N/a
c) Liaison with: The Operations Manager, Project Coordinators, Team Leader, HSQE Auditor
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
1) Maintain at all times high standards of both personal and crew Quality, Health & Safety and professionalism, and actively promote all Company policies and procedures.
2) To develop and promote a concern for personal safety and the safety of others.
3) Report and be responsible to the Team Leader for all day to day, on site activities. Make every effort to facilitate the team’s productivity.
4) Participate fully in running site activities effectively and ensure that all delays, interferences and extra costs are reported to Team Leader.
5) Be responsible in the use of the allocated Company Vehicle. Ensure, along with the Team Leader, accurate records of duty driver and mileage are kept. Share the driving of the Company vehicle with the Team Leader.
6) Be responsible in the use of all Team Company assets (including tools and equipment, account cards and telephone) and report any deficiencies as they occur to the Team Leader.
7) Comply with any other reasonable instruction of the Operations Manager, Team Leader, Field Supervisor or Project Coordinator, in the furtherance of Company business.
8) Represent the Company in the best possible light at all times.
9) The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Must have a driving licence and ideally be over 21 years old.
