We are a leading medical devices company looking to recruit a full-time Customer Support Assistant to work alongside our Support Department Manager in delivering first line support to our customers throughout the UK and Ireland.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company who pride themselves on quality and service; who have built a robust reputation in the UK marketplace spanning almost 20 years. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates an exceptional proficiency towards customer relations, technology and innovation; to join our team based in Lenham, Kent as we continue to grow and expand into new and exciting areas.

Reporting directly to the Support Department Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the Company reputation for prompt first class customer service and support remains unrivalled.

This unique role will call upon the candidate’s customer service and client management skills, as well as a strong technical ability that will troubleshoot problems in a helpdesk environment.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Providing first class customer service via e-mail, telephone and face-to-face
• Assisting with management of the service and repairs process.
• Assisting with the client management process where directed.
• Resolving customer’s product or service queries.
• Troubleshooting; diagnosing hardware, network, and software issues both on and off-site.
• Configuring Windows systems and hardware, including building PC’s from components.
• Maintaining and updating the CRM database.
• Logging all communications accurately.
• Monitoring department KPI’s; ensuring processes are being adhered to ISO standards.
• Liaising with sales and order teams.

Person Specification:
• Proven customer services and support experience.
• A working knowledge and understanding of Windows operating systems and applications.
• A clear and concise communicator with an analytical, problem solving methodology.
• A first-rate customer focussed approach and ability to explain processes and concepts in a friendly and patient manner.
• Proactive, organised and disciplined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Full UK driving license.
• Must be prepared for occasional travel and/or work outside of normal working hours when required.
• Experience of working within a helpdesk environment would be advantageous.
• Experience of using remote support applications would be advantageous.
