New Job: 3-6 month Interim Contracts Manager role, in the Kent area paying circa £42k

Great opportunity to join out client and assist them in setting up their contracts process and streamlining to allow them to get to a BAU situation. This role has come about to allow them to show there is a business case to make it a permanent position.

Your new role
You will work to support the Governance and Compliance team deliver a high quality, customer focused service to the business through support. Delivering the process, development, rationalisation, streamlining and monitoring of all corporate contracts. Supporting the leadership and implementation of the procurement contract management strategy along with sound value for money and industry best practice.

What you'll need to succeed


* Proven track record of successful contract implementation and management for a large and diverse portfolio
* In depth information of contract formation and contract types
* Ability to excel at leading and motivating people to deliver excellent results.
* The ability to work effectively with colleagues across the business, and with external stakeholders.
* The ability to motivate, encourage and support the business in all procurement activities and deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
* Fantastic communication skills and enjoying working with people.
* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyse complex information and experience of providing meaningful category management information.
* Excellent level of attention to detail and an inquiring mind to strategically evaluate and provide advice
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

What's desirable:

* Experience of working within the housing sector.
* Relevant professional qualification - CIPFA or MCIPS
