My client is a Mid Kent based services business looking to recruit a qualified Finance Director to join the senior management team. 

The business is performing well and the expectations are high for future organic growth, with additional innovations in their marketplace.  

Reporting into the Board, the role holds overall responsibility for the finance function of the organisation alongside offering commercial and strategic input on future business areas, new markets and ventures.

You will manage and develop the finance team, drive company strategy, commercial decision making and ensure the Company`s proper financial governance. You will have a keen eye for process improvement, helping to shape the finance function and team to support company growth.

You will be a well-rounded finance leader who can meet the following requirements:

- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification
- Strong business partnering skills; the ability to provide strategic, analytical and operational support right across an organisation
- Strong team mentoring and developing experience
- Well-rounded finance skills - an understanding of accounting standards, tax and the importance of strong controls and processes
- The ability to interpret data, quickly pick up on trends and build financial models
- Excellent communication and questioning skills, with the authority and credibility to work at board level
- Comfortable being hands on, but able to take an aerial view of the wider business
- Sound commercial acumen; judging opportunities on a financial and commercial level
- Your technical abilities will be matched by your enthusiasm and drive
