We are recruiting for a strong administrator to take up a part time position to support in a HR learning and development team. Working part time up to 22 hours per week, you will assist the HR team in providing a high quality service with regards to all aspects of co-ordination and administration.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* To administer starter & leaver processes including all documentation, induction processes and exit interviews;

* You will raise contracts, welcome and induction packs to ensure efficiency in the team;

* To maintain and update electronic and hard copy employee record systems containing all employment-related information including absence, holidays, starters and leavers, benefits and equality and diversity;

* To provide all administration including booking venues, liaising with providers and attendees;

* You will maintain all HR databases and time and attendance system, so accurate information is readily available;

* You will deal with enquiries from our people, external contacts and agencies, either in person, telephone or in writing;

* To provide general administration support to the HR department as required including; creation and tracking of purchase orders and reconciling with invoices for approval, filing, telephone answering, scanning, photocopying and emails;

* You will conduct regular checks to ensure the integrity of the HR databases and time and attendance system, updating data as necessary and ensuring that the database is working properly and that problems are identified and resolved;

* You will actively participate and give input to several team and individual projects;

* You will provide timely and accurate information in a variety of formats, Excel, reports, graphs etc;

* Anything else commensurate to complete your role.

Learning and Development:

* Liaise with training providers and co-ordinate a tendering process where required;

* Administer candidate course bookings and associated documentation sent out within specified timescales;

* Keeping training records up to date and keep accurate records/reports;

* Administering the eLearning database.

Requirements:

* You will understand the importance of maintaining employee confidence, keeping information confidential and always adhering to the data protection legislation;

* You must be a conscientious team player that responds well to managing a number of tasks;

* Be able to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes;

* Good persuasive and influencing skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels;

* Previous training coordination experience desirable;

* Good general education with minimum GCSE C or equivalent in English and Maths;

* CPP qualification / CIPD membership (or studying towards) is highly desirable;

* Sound previous generalist experience of HR administration;

* Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills;

* Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively;

* Strong IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages and experienced in working with HR databases. Data analysis skills essential;

* Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal with colleagues at all levels.
