Owing to continued expansion of our well-established business, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team based in Ashford, Kent.

We are looking for a self-motivated person to work within a very busy Sales Department. This person needs to be enthusiastic, motivated and a reliable individual, as well being very organised with excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, though full training shall be provided to the right candidate.

Duties:

• To ensure that customer enquiries, quotes and orders are expedited effectively to the Production/Installation departments.
• To maintain daily updates regarding projects and associated contracts
• Ensure defined KPI’s are met
• To contribute towards construction of the departmental sales budget with responsibility for sales progress and achievement of targets set
within that area of responsibility.
• To liaise with customers to clarify what requirements are specified and ensure data is entered onto the system as appropriate in a timely
fashion and that it is kept up to date
• Liaise with the Management and Team Leaders within the business on technical requirements for special products
• Download, update, print and modify or produce simple Auto-cad drawings for quotation/shop floor purposes
• Partake in Sales meetings as and when required
• Provide technical support to customers

Skills, Experience:

• Working Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills (both written/verbal) and the ability to liaise closely with customers
• Ability to work under pressure, both on own initiative and as part of a busy team
• Ability to handle multiple varied projects from enquiry through to completion

Salary Range: £20K - £25K Negotiable subject to experience:

Standard Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 08.00am – 17.00pm, Friday 08.00am – 16.00pm
