Our client is looking for a Kitchen Porter to work in their 15th century style pub located in the heart of Rye. Rated in the Times ``Britain`s 25 best places to eat on the weekend`` Our client is one of the most loved and most popular pubs within the Rye area, with a mixture of customers from regulars to walkers, writers, Farmers and travellers they uphold a fantastic reputation within the community.
They are Looking for a Kitchen Porter to come and join their kitchen team working between 35-40 hours each week, shifts will be between 08:00-22:30. You will work 2 split shifts each week as well as 3 half shifts as well. You will receive 2 consecutive days off each week and be included within their in house tip system.
the Ideal Candidate will be:
- Proactive
- Interested in career progression within the kitchen
- Able to work weekends
- Able to work well in a team
- Cope well through busy times of the day
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety within the work place
