Junior Buyer
£25,000 - £28,000
Kings Hill
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 1-hour lunch break (35-hour week)
25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Our client is a market leader in their field and is looking for a Junior Buyer. This is a newly created role for our client due to growth within the business. The successful candidate would ideally have a degree in procurement/purchasing or finance or business and/or a minimum of 6 months relevant experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the indirect spend within the business and will be a driven, eager to learn individual who is looking for a role they can really make their own and really develop their career.

Duties for this Junior Buyer role will include but not be limited to:

* Managing day to day supplier relationships
* Supporting key contracts, tenders and quotations for allocated spend
* Carrying out continuous analysis, risk and contract reviews
* Supporting the procurement team with any administrative functions

The successful Junior Buyer will have / be able to:

* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills and be highly analytical
* Show a passion for learning and developing their career
* A degree in procurement / purchasing or business/finance

This is a newly created role for the business so candidates who are immediately available would be of particular interest, however candidates on a notice will still be considered.
