Due to continued expansion Capital Cleaning Supplies have an opportunity for a Buyers Assistant to fill a new role to provide essential support to the Head of Buying and Assistant Buyers.
The successful Buyers Assistant will be working within the purchasing department, with an overall remit to assist with our purchase processes and manage the Buyers Admin.
Your key responsibilities and duties within the role of Buyers Assistant will consist of:
• Maintain checks on existing unfulfilled orders
• Keep purchasing records updated by receiving goods in and matching supplier invoices
• Assist with supplier and stock queries
• Ensure timely fulfilment of goods ordered
• Ensure general admin is kept up to date
What makes you the perfect Buyers Assistant?
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of distribution processes and their implications on the delivery of product in a timely manner
• Demonstrate interpersonal/communication skills
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with Suppliers and senior staff
• Demonstrable Influencing and organisational skills
This role is suitable for a young person who would like to work towards a business admin qualification through an apprenticeship or a more experienced person.
