New Appointments Group are seeking a temporary Housing Management Assistant to join our client based in Canterbury.

Providing practical housing management to vulnerable adults living in supported accommodation, your duties will be;

* To establish positive working relationships with service users and to work closely with Homeless & Prevention Coaches
* To ensure that the accommodation is maintained to a good standard and that health and safety and fire regulations/policies
* To carry out regular property checks, ensuring that the environments are and that all properties meet the contractual agreements with landlords and housing associations.
* To ensure safeguarding concerns are recognised and reported as per the safeguarding policy
* To Support service users in paying their personal contribution and updating relevant information for Housing Benefit claims
* To maintain accurate and up to date financial and administrative records and systems and assist in the compilation of monthly performance reports
* To issue, complete and explain tenancy and licence agreements and manage the review, renewal and termination of licences/tenancies as appropriate

This is a summary of the main responsibilities but not an exhaustive list. Due to the nature of the role you must hold a valid driving licence with access to your own car. Experience of inter-agency liaison is a must.

Again this will be a temporary role, working full time Monday-Friday.

The successful applicant will be subject to Disclosure checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
