This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to work within a busy fast paced environment offering opportunities for development.
* Assistance and support to the Finance Manager, Senior Management and Cost
Management team
* A sound knowledge of Sage Line 50, as is confidentiality due to the nature of the role
Main Activities :
* Posting sales and purchase invoices to Sage
* New project set up, including processing of purchase orders
* CIS verification
* Supplier credit checks
* Maintenance of supplier database and insurances
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Monitoring and assisting with resolution of purchase invoice queries
* Preparation of Bi Weekly payment runs
* Processing and posting monthly expense claims
* Monitoring of sales invoices against purchase orders and weekly reporting
* Management of Trade Accounts
* Preparation and issue of sales invoices
* Credit control
* Attendance and reporting at monthly Finance Meetings
* Month end Sage reconciliations
Skills :
* Sound knowledge and experience of Sage Line 50
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Confidentiality and integrity essential
* An observant and enquiring nature
* Organised, with accuracy and attention to detail
