I am currently working with a number of Chartered Accounts Firms based around Kent who are looking to add an experienced Accountant to their teams.
The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in and oversee all aspects of assignments from planning to completion.
These roles will provide plenty of opportunity to develop managerial skills and offers realistic progression opportunities to a managerial role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working within the general Accounts department
* Managing an established portfolio of clients meeting clients as and when required
* Preparation of annual financial statements from incomplete records and various accounting software packages
* Preparation of periodic management accounts using various accounting software packages, including Sage 50
* Demonstrating awareness of compliance legislation e.g. VAT, tax, PAYE
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Assisting junior colleagues as and when required
Person Specification:
* Part or newly qualified.
* Highly IT literate.
* First class communication skills.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
