We are looking for candidates to work as wood work operatives between Ashford and Canterbury; due to the location you must have your own transport. The work will be using hand held and power tools to manufacture wooden fences and doors. There is a frame work set up for each product, you place the wooden slats into the frames and then fix them together with nails and screws.
This work is very repetitive, you will be making the same products and you will be quite isolated working in your own area, you must be comfortable working independently. This role is perfect for candidates who like working with their hands and prefer manual work.
We are ideally looking for candidates with experience in similar industries; any timber experience would be hugely advantageous, you must have done physical, manual work and also be comfortable working in all temperatures, as the workshop will be the same temperature as outside.
The work will be Monday to Thursday 8am to 5.45pm and Friday 8am to 4.15pm and we have immediate starts available.
The company offer great benefits to full time employees and the right candidate may be offered a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
