Position Expectations
Serve as a resident advocate to ensure that the resident's medical and emotional needs are met and be accountable for supervising the nursing care provided by professional and ancillary nursing staff. Record accurate and prompt documentation of all nursing tasks.
This role is part time: 20 - 25 hours per week over a 7 day working rota

Qualifications and Experience
• Registered Nurse 1st level
• Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above
• Evidence of continual professional development
• Experience within a surgical environment with a broad knowledge and understanding of multi-specialist surgical procedures
• Clinical leadership and motivational skills
• Committed to professional development
• Ability to work independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Management of clinical risk
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Track record of ability to implement change
