The Group Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the Group Reporting Manager in ensuring accurate consolidated financial information is reported for Europe. They will also assist in the preparation of the UK VAT return, Corporation tax computations and ad-hoc tax projects across Europe.



Duties include:



* Prepare the Holding Company financials, including the calculation and reconciliation of intercompany interest and loans and complete the BPC packages
* Assist the Group Reporting Manager with the review of monthly P&L and balance sheet submissions in BPC and liaise with the business/FSR team on any queries that may arise
* Assist the Group Reporting Manager with preparing and entering topside and push down accounting entries into BPC
* Support the Group Reporting Manager in ensuring that BPC is used to optimise group reporting across Europe.
* Maintain and process the intercompany recharges between Europe and the US and assist the Group Reporting Manager with intercompany matching
* Assist the Group Reporting Manager in the preparation of the UK statutory accounts, liaise with the business and the Group Technical Accounting Manager where necessary to gather the required disclosure information
* Prepare the Group balance sheet reconciliations
* Liaise with external auditors where required
* Prepare and submit National Statistics surveys
* Prepare the VAT return for the UK group, incl.:
* Submission of intrastat and EC sales returns
* Collection and review of VAT return data from UK subsidiaries
* Preparation of VAT return data for main UK trading company
* Compilation of the UK VAT Group return
* Assistance with Making Tax Digital project
* Providing support to the business on VAT product liabilities
* Prepare the corporation tax pack for the main UK trading company to enable the external advisors to complete the tax computation, assist with answering queries during the preparation process
* Support other UK subsidiaries with the completion of their tax packs
* Submit statutory accounts to third party provider for iXBRL tagging and review resulting tagging
* Attend meetings with HMRC and external advisors when required by the Group Reporting Manager
* Prepare the annual PSA return
* Prepare monthly & quarterly schedules for submission to the US
* Assist the Group Reporting Manager in collecting annual related party information from subsidiaries
* Assist the Group Reporting Manager with ad-hoc reporting and tax projects across Europe

Skills and experience required:



* Qualified and practice trained ACA
* VAT and corporation tax experience beneficial
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
