Are you an experienced Finance Officer with prior experience of working within an academy environment, considering a new opportunity? The Halley Academy, part of Leigh Academies Trust, are highly successful and now have the opportunity for a qualified and credible finance professional to join our team in this pivotal role. Our successful candidate will join us as soon after the Easter break as possible, offering full assistance to the Finance Manager from the off-set by contributing to the overall objectives of The Halley Academy by ensuring that comprehensive and correct financial information is kept.

The working basis of this role is 35 hours per week during Term Time plus 2 additional weeks inset. The salary offered is NJC Scale 5 Points 22-25 based in experience; £22,956-£24,999 full-time equivalent with an actual salary of £20,431-£22,250 per annum.

Working with The Halley Academy: The Halley Academy has a long and illustrious heritage being the first purpose-built comprehensive in the UK in the 1950s.
