Our busy seafront bar/restaurant is looking for an experienced, passionate and forward thinking Head chef.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with good communication skills a nd the ability to manage our team of kitchen staff effectively.
Responsibilities:
Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
Monitor stock control and keep control of waste in the kitchen
Staff rostering
Effective training of kitchen staff
Delegating tasks to the team of staff
Creating and developing new menus to suit each season
Working together with the general manager to resolve any issues through weekly update meetings
The right candidate will be rewarded with :
