Eurotunnel manages, maintains and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency and respect for the environment.

In 2018, Eurotunnel Shuttles carried circa 1.7 million trucks, and 2.6 million passenger vehicles and facilitated the transportation of just over 1m tonnes of freight and some 11m Eurostar passengers. The Channel Tunnel facilitates trade worth circa £91.4bn per year, representing a quarter of all UK trade in goods with the European Union. Eurotunnel is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Procurement team. You will assist Procurement operations, for internal clients and/ or for a defined range of product families, whilst ensuring cost effectiveness is achieved. You will work in line with best practice, European and national laws, and Company procedures to ensure compliance at all times.

You must have experience in a procurement or direct support role, or relevant experience in financial, commercial or legal work linked with procurement. Relevant experience of negotiation and consultation with suppliers and relevant analysis is required along with direct experience in purchasing processes and the use of SAP, eProcurement or similar IT based systems.
