Working for a leading manufacturer in the fresh foods market, specialising in developing private label products for top global grocery retailers and well known international foodservice operators.

Role Purpose:

To ensure material is received and issued accurately.


Key responsibilities include:

• Operate in a safe manner ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Identify the different material and product varieties received and issued within the business
• Communicate any material non-conformances to the relevant Team Leader / Goods In Administrator
• To be able to accurately unload vehicles whilst maintaining all relevant safe systems of work including H&S, technical and production requirements
• Accurately complete all relevant delivery/outbound paperwork
• Where appropriate assist with the collection of quality samples
• Supply daily required raw material orders in a timely manner completing all pick sheets accordingly
• Carry out required safety vehicle checks prior to use, reporting any non-conformances accordingly
• Organise and maintain the yard area to the required standard, regularly communicating stock levels with the Goods-In Administrator
• Re-load supplier equipment as requested ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
• Accurately complete a weekly manual stock-take sheet as provided by the Administrator
• Complete material disposals as required

Skills, know-how and experience required:

• Previous experience of working in a similar role
• Ability to communicate effectively within a Team
• Able to lift and carry material as the job requires
• Good Literacy and Numerical Skills
