MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Procurement of stock listed as required to support the company manufacturing plan.

 To negotiate and co-ordinate the timely and cost effective supply of all materials to ensure that the company cost reduction and performance targets are achieved.

 Management of Auto replenishment stock systems.

 Using and updating and maintaining the part cost, supplier and purchase order line data within EFACS.

 Monitor reorder reports and act accordingly.

 Act upon Modification Forms where required.

 Manage specific suppliers with regards to all aspects of quality and performance with reviews and actions plans for improvement

 Ensure non conforming materials are processed for credit or replacement within 5 working days.

 Providing support for bidding and cost estimations on new business opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 Minimum 5 years in a modern manufacturing environment.

 Experience of working with modern supply chain methods.

 Experience of electronic component procurement.

 Able to work in a team.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Ability to manage multiple responses and deadlines.

 Use of Microsoft Excel, Word and demonstrable experience of MRP planning and procurement systems.

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

 Vendor selection.

 Raw materials spend to agreed levels.
