My Client, a privately owned Company, specialise in the design, manufacture and installation

of flooring solutions that help to optimise storage, warehousing & distribution processes.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Production Controller to ensure the on-time and to budget delivery of all components required for each project.



The Role: Scheduler -German speaker

Make purchasing decisions that are cost-effective and within budget

Manage package dates according to project requirements

Flag concerns over site start dates when insufficient time has been afforded for manufacture

Liaise with contracts department regarding deliveries

Proactively purchase long lead time components to avoid build delays

Submit NCR's for all supplier failures/errors

To proactively check next day deliveries and collections to identify delays and react accordingly.

Work with the Production Team Leader to prevent fabricator capacity overload.

Visit Fabricators to check outgoing product for projects outside of the UK and to limit costly errors.

Assist with accurate quotation of projects in support of future business



Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Scheduler - German speaker

Minimum Grade C English & Maths

Degree level - ideal

Fluent in German & English

CIPS or willing to do

Buying experience

Experience of working within contracting / construction

Excellent time management skills

Strong project management skills, particularly planning, scheduling and controlling

Good financial awareness

Excellent IT skills especially in Outlook and MS Office

Excellent numeracy skills

Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional levels

Willing to travel in UK - and to Germany
