Our client, an Award-winning business based in Dover, is on the hunt for a Senior Communications Executive to join their team.

This is a great career opportunity for a switched on and strategic Communications professional, with solid experience developing Marketing plans and building relationships.

You will be joining the business during a crucial period of growth, driving a positive image of the business through external relations and media activities.

Senior Communications Executive duties:

* Prepare the Communications plan and lead on its delivery, monitoring progress throughout the year
* Cultivate positive relationships and provide a central point of contact with media and other organisations
* Provide a daily media report to management utilising a paid-for monitoring service
* Prepare press releases to support corporate, project and business stream activities
* You will also be included on the duty roster for on-call media duties

Senior Communications Executive Requirements:

* Degree level or equivalent professional qualification in a related area
* Solid experience in a similar Communications role
* Experience delivering a marketing plan for a national business/projects of national importance
* Good knowledge of the ports and shipping industry preferred
* Good influencing and negotiation skills
* Full driving licence and use of own vehicle
