We are a small specialist engineering company established in 1982, serving customers across the UK and Europe.

We manufacture one-off parts and small runs of components used in our hydraulic cylinder remanufacturing repair shop.

We are looking for a “hands on” manager/foreman to operate and run our small machine shop and team of machinists and apprentices. You will be involved in the daily production meeting, allocating work within the machine shop, be responsible for on-time delivery and quality of yours and the teams work. You should be willing to impart your experience to junior team members to maintain the high standards and the smooth operation of the shop.

We expect you to be a time served Machinist with practical experience of manual machining with lathes and mills.
With a minimum of 5 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a mechanical engineering manufacturing environment.
Experience of CNC lathes and mills (knowledge of Siemens Sinumerik and Style conversational CNC would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given).

Advantageous but not Essential
