A leading Legal 500 law firm with multiple offices are currently recruiting a Compliance Co-Ordinator to join them in their busy Risk and Compliance team based in Tunbridge Wells on a 12 month FTC. Please note that there is no on-site parking available, however near-by parking is possible and there are excellent links to public transport.
The Compliance Co-Ordinator will work in a centralised Risk and Compliance team, and be responsible for a wide range of duties including (but not limited to):
* Carrying out all checks on new file openings including AML checks
* Answering internal queries regarding compliance issues
* Providing training on compliance to new starters within the firm
* Assist with the administration of the firm's accreditations, for example, the Law Society's CQS and WIQS accreditations and its ISO9001 certification
The successful Compliance Co-Ordinator will offer the following background/skill set:
* At least 12 months experience of working in compliance and risk
* Solid IT skills including MS Office programmes (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.) is a must, and ideally some experience of CMS (although full training will be provided)
* High attention to detail
* Analytical approach to work
* Be well presented
* Polite and professional communication skills - verbal and written
* A flexible approach to work
* Be approachable and a problem solver
The successful Compliance Co-Ordinator will join a friendly and supportive small team environment, with a fun and lively social life outside of work should you wish to be involved.

The Compliance Coordinator will join a busy small team responsible for carrying out the new client and matter opening process in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures. This involves working closely with other members of the compliance team and with fee earning teams across the firm, whose clients include both individuals and businesses based in the UK and worldwide.
The successful candidate will have between 1-3 years previous experience within a compliance role ideally at law firm or financial services firm. This role is ideal for anybody who wants to build their compliance experience with a growing and modern firm and be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team.
