Are you passionate about helping others to live a happy and fulfilled life?
Are you confident, self-motivated, flexible, and have a ‘can do’ attitude?
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new Big Lottery funded project working with people over 50 who are socially isolated or experiencing loneliness due to changing life circumstances. Imago is a leading charity providing support and opportunities to people across the South East, and you will join an experienced adult services team to develop the CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) service across Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley.
CAMEO offers a 12-week programme of activities with sessions on topics such as healthy living, personal finances, volunteering and community services; you will design and publicise the programme, working with local partners to deliver sessions. A key aspect of CAMEO is sustainability and you will provide ‘light touch’ support to groups to continue after the programme; engaging participants in volunteering and accessing community facilities.
Knowledge of local services and the ability to build effective networks with cross sector organisations is essential.
You can make a difference and be part of the solution.
