A continually expanding manufacturing outfit with HQ based on the outskirts of Maidstone are looking to supplement their growth with the timely appointment of a Physicist.

The business is not resting on their laurels in 2019 and are looking to grow their market share.

The incoming candidate will see the candidate design, simulate, and test the firm's product - you will be directly involved in testing for quality control and in writing technical documents for customers.

The role will involve carrying out test set ups, operations and calibration independently, whilst documenting procedures and results.

The role will require communication with customers to provide technical support, which can additionally involve site visits, and will call for the flexibility and self-motivation required to work in a dynamic SME.

In order to be considered for the role you will need to hold a Degree within Physics or a related field, along with tangible industry experience within a related discipline.

Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of electro-magnetism or solid-stage physics, experience of EM modelling software, and programming experience in Python.

The successful applicant will be a skilled communicator with the ability to work closely with internal departments effectively in order to achieve shared and common business goals. Able to work effectively in a team, but also autonomously - you will possess a strong work ethic and you'll be committed to making a difference to the business.

Owing to the location of the business, it would be advisable (but not essential) that you possess a driving licence and have your own vehicle.
