Position Expectations
We are seeking an experienced Pattern / Model maker to join a very successful and growing advanced engineering company working mainly in the Automotive and Aerospace sectors.
Requirements
Applicants should have a working knowledge of the following:
• Creating mould / fibreglass laminates and mock ups
• Preparing model board mock ups
• Creation of casting patterns
• Creating patterns from drawings and reverse engineering
• Those from with an automotive or foundry pattern making background with the ability to build cabinets, machines and use components to make models would be of great interest
Specific skills
• NVQ Level 2 in Engineering
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
• Attention to detail
Remuneration & Benefits
• Very competitive salary
• 38-hour week plus overtime at time and half
• 20 days holiday year 1 then 26 days thereafter (plus bank holidays)
